Equipment configuration
Thermal Modification Kilns are autoclave-type units that use induction heating. The autoclave`s heating element, shaped like a winding, runs along its entire outer surface. This ensures even heating across the chamber walls. This eliminates condensation on the autoclave`s inner surface and prevents corrosion of chamber walls. The equipment`s stack injection purge system reduces heat treatment cycle time by 30-40% and achieves 100% color uniformity across the stack of thermalized material.
The control system is based on the Owen microprocessor controllers. It also enables remote monitoring and control of the installation.
The main components of the thermal kilns are:
• Heat shield
• Autoclave rails
• Side rails
• Roll-out trolley
• Exhaust steam condenser
• Stack convection purge turbine impeller
• Air duct
The main components of the thermal equipment are:
• Control cabinet
• Electric motor
• Pressure gauge
• Temperature and pressure sensors
• Mechanical valve for steam exhaust
• Safety valves that include spring-loaded and membrane-based designs
• Linear Actuator
The thermal chambers operate completely automatically.
